I hearken back to the 1960's and 1970's when it was good food.

Even on Trans-Atlantic flights, I try to stay away from this food, which usually consists of some sort of mystery meat and microwaved vegetables. Pretzels, nuts, and drinks usually cover me just fine. Longer flights across the Pacific for instance require it, but even then, better to wait until you get on the ground for a sandwich. That's a better value usually, as some flights make you pay for the food too now.
