 | souljunkie (20) 12/05/2005 | Surprisingly, I agree with Djahuti. I can think of three wars off hand that were about fighting for homeland and way of life and/or world freedom. Civil war, WWI & WWII. Aside from those or wars like them, every time you hear the above phrase connected to a war, it was about religion about 1%. The real reason for these wars like the one the muslims are pushing on us now is 99% pure ignorant and unjustified hatred and prejudice.

 | Djahuti (54) 12/04/2005 | If it was a joke-it might be funny. The sad truth is that so-called "Religion" has been behind more bloodshed than just about anything else. There's nothing quite like the Psychotic belief that "God" is on your side to bring out the WORST in human beings.

 | abichara (60) 10/16/2005 | A combination of purity through the holy and bloodshed through war, holy war is indeed a top oxymoron. Although many who justify this claim that they are merely cleansing the world of evil; hence their enemies deserve such a fate.
