Depends on the leftover. Stews, taco mix, turkey, potatoes and gravy -- all delicious the second time. A few things, however, will not work (such as oatmeal).

The number one reason that I use the microwave. Especially stews, soups and other moist foods. I think certain foods react better to the microwave than others.

Certain types of leftovers do better than others, like casseroles,lasagne, and chinese food. I don't like putting leftover pizza in the microwave; much rather take a little extra time to heat it in the regular oven.
