08/03/2005 | As a note to Irishgit, I've read many, many books, and Stephen King still stands out as my favorite author. He's the only author that's ever truly scared me, and he has a knack for writing books that keep me going until the last word. I know he's not considered literature, but then....who the hell cares about that? If I'm reading a book, I'm looking for a good story and the truth is, Stephen King tells a good story. I really wish he'd finish the Plant, though.
