No, actually he isn't all that money in the clutch. I can remember countless times where he was bailed out by Horry, Shaw, Shaq, and many others after missing some big shots. Game 2 of the 2004 NBA Finals, when he hit the game tying shot at the end of regulation was the only time I remember Kobe hitting a huge shot in a huge game. Otherwise, overrated in the clutch.

I'm not particularly fond of him myself. Not because of the rape charge or the thing with Shaq, but because he waved off the screen from Malone in the All Star game so he could try to show up Jordan - didn't work. That's when I started not liking him. However, like him or not, he's got icewater in his veins. Among stars, outside of clutch role players like Horry, Kobe is probably the most clutch player in the game currently.
