Just a theory but, do you think it's a coincidence that these "creatures" seem to show up in locals that are known for having really good weed? I mean the worst thing we have going on out in the country where I come from are morons tipping cows over - an urge that I'm sure was inspired by smoking corn silk and getting popped on Boones Farm. Obviously, the more powerful the substance the more powerful the hallucination/inclination.
