This bar has more televisions than a Best Buy. If the game you want to watch isn't playing on at least one of them, it might not be on television anywhere. Also one of the only bars I know that has both Miller High Life in bottles and snooty California microbrews on tap. Lots of people here are regulars, and tend to prefer buckets (yes, metal buckets, with ice) of Bud Lite or Pacifico. Claim a table with your group, get started on a bucket, and try to keep your concentration on one of the TVs. High energy, especially when multiple groups of rabid fans are watching multiple games on multiple televisions while drinking multiple drinks. Bartenders are down-to-earth, mostly attitude-free efficient, and say thank you when you tip.

Here's why Bus Stop is one of my favorite place in San Francisco: 1) It is within walking distance of my place. 2) There's a Red Sox light in the window. 3) There are 2 Pac-Man machines.

Pretty good Union Street bar. Couple of pool tables in back, sports on TV, and good beer on tap. Memorable for me because my first night out in San Francisco a couple years ago, a friend of mine fell off a bar stool there. Apparently wasn't used to drinking Sierra Nevada pints as opposed to Bud bottles.
