Like most - if not all - futuristic movies, Brazil is really a satirical look at the dystopia we live in.

An interesting blend of dark comedy and sci-fi.

A surreal tour-de force with astounding special effects,and also a great analogy in its vision of technology and beaurocracy gone awry.Some of it is howlingly funny (the scene with the little cramped offices sharing a desk between a wall) and some of it will give you great pause.Very entertaining as well as thought provoking.5 huge stars!
