A interesting film, that gave us a grim look at TV in the future.

Very good for an action movie.Even better as a prediction of a possible future where people are easily set up by video trickery and wrongly imprisoned.The public in this flick is ignorant and hooked on violent reality TV.Sound plausible?

This flick is directed by Paul Michael Glaser, of "Starsky & Hutch" renown.

Awnold, in the future, is framed for a crime he didn't do and is sentenced to serve on a murderous game show. You gotta run away from all the hunters who are after you, hence the title.

Richard Dawson is the heavy who is the game show host, what else?

I like the game show angle. I really got a kick out of Richard Dawson calling the president's agent to get Awnold out of stir and onto the show.

Awnold was convicted of his crime by the doctoring of a news tape by the government. That was disturbing. It appeared so easy and was so devastating to the truth.
