Highly unlikely, but I can't think of another player who deserves it more than Iverson ...

Everything would have to go right for the Sixers to win it all. Cheeks will have to be Coach of the year, Iverson will have to be spectactular while blending in with Chris Webber. The young guys will have to step it up: Igoudala has Star potential and he'll have to be that Third Star -Vince Carter like in his play. Willie Green, Dalembert, Kyle Korver all will have to do what they do best and it all will have to click. The Sixers would also need to make a key trade to bring in a guy(s) who will help them make a run at it. Is this all possible? Not really. The 2005-2006 Sixers will be a great success if they make the Eastern Conference Finals. It's theoretically possible, but not likely.

Yeah, it's not going to happen... I like that they locked up Green, Korver, and Dalembert - but the problem is that those guys are too young, and by the time they're ready to win championships, Iverson and Webber will be too old. As farfetched as a championship is next year, they're reasonable window of opportunity would seem to be next year or the year after, as Webber and Iverson aren't getting any younger. That's why it's so critical that the young guns get playing time to develop. I *think* this is why O'Brien got fired.

I'm a Sixer fan, but this team getting past (1) Detriot or (2) Miami? Doubtful. . .it would take a perfect season with a few breaks. . .including the Philadelphia mob kidnapping Shaq and Richard Hamilton. . .
