 | texasyankee (21) 07/27/2005 | There was a good reason to explore the possibilities of hair dye, because it used to leave your hair flat looking, and if you went blonde, it would go brassy, so in this respect I find it to be important, but now they are doing all these fancy little things like applicators and other things; is it really worth it? I don't think I'd want to risk experimenting with one of these new products and have it turn out to be a bad experiment.EDIT Graymalkin, I have dyed my hair once, and that was when I got a coupon for a free box. I totally hated it and really had no reason to use it but at the same time, when you see someone else who so obviously used a cheap box of hair dye, whether it's a big dry old bush on their head or just so brassy it looks orange, that is annoying!!!

When I have been in a salon, just the smell alone is bad enough, but I wonder if all of those chemicals being absorbed into my scalp might make me even loopier than I am! I like the color of my hair, and when I find a gray hair every now and then, I pull the bugger out!
