Again I wish we could be more self reliant all around. America has created this environment where we cannot make a quality product cheaper than our third world allies so we lose every time. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Now America cares more about its stockholders than its cutomers, plain ans simple. They are not the same at all.

Consumers would hate this.

It would be a great form of protest, but it wouldn't make Amercan compaines bring their factories back to America. Plus, if we didn't buy things made in China, what would we buy? lol.

What if it's a cheaper, better product? Isn't getting your money's worth the American way? The real problem is that it's too expensive to manufacture anything in America anymore. . .but that's not the fault of the Chinese. . .we'd better look in the mirror. . .

A laudable idea, but one that certainly is (unfortunately) impossible. We're flooded with Chinese stuff (and some of it is pretty good), but in the long run, we're really going to pay for it from a national security perspective.
