Yeah, why should we be taking part in a corrupt organization that hobnobs with some of the worst dictators in the modern world?

I wish the hell we could but it just would not be smart. Contrary to what some think, I believe Mr. Bush knows who really is buttering his bread so to speak. He has made the right moves to stay in close Alliance with Great Britain first, and some other visible European powers. He probably knows like i do that The US and Britain alone have enough power to run the world anyway but its good for our global image to keep a few others in our pocket. That is the only reason in my estimations to keep trying to maintain some sort of relationship with Germany. I dont know why we continue to bother with France. They have been a weak and uncomitted nation since the turn of the century the way I see it. The last time they did things the right way was to help us win our independence.

No, but we should be the one making policy. Who the f*** let China on the commssion for human rights, by the way?

This might be the stupidest thing on this list; but I wouldn't be surprised if GWB decided to do this. Americans can act ignorant and simply state how easy this WOULD be, but internationally, the US would be dead. And no, the US can survive on its own. UPDATE: Little typo, meant to say 'the US can't survive', not 'can'.

I know where the King is going with this, but no, your majesty, we must remain. I say we should low-key our involvement, if that's possible, but we must remain.

I'll grant that it's become a gigantic money-sucking bureaucratic and political mess. But we aren't going to improve it by leaving. Better we should be on the inside making noise than on the outside where they can't hear us.
