I happen to disagree. #1 we've had many ACC academic allstars of the year. Most recently, last year in Byron Sanders. BUT BUT BUT, no matter who is smarter, this isn't Jeopardy. It's basketball. And I'm more concerned with having better basketball players than I am with ones who can do calculus (as if Dook players could). Ray Felton might not teach you physics, but he'll break them ankles on the court, ya know? That being said, the NBA has proven for the ENTIRE WORLD TO SEE, which school produces better ballers. Ask a Japanese guy what he thinks of Shane Battier and he will say, who. Ask a Japanese guy what he thinks of Rasheed and he'll say, oooooooh, that be my dog, maaaan. Hell, you got sports stores in Belgium selling Carolina gear. We don't have more rich students than Dook, but we are RICHER than Dook. They love us. An ESPN.com poll showed that we are America's most popular college team. seen any rap videos lately? HA HA! Our uniforms were rated the best by voters on ESPN.com. WE SELL MORE MERCHANDISE THAN THE LAKERS! Our atendance in all of college basketball has been #1 or #2 for the past 30 years in ticket sells! ALL OF OUR GAMES ARE TELEVISED. Look whatever, smarter or not, Ellington, and Lawson are ranked #1 at their positions. Nuff said. OUR RECRUITS KILL YOURS! When was the last time you had a class like May, Felton, and McCants!? Coach K recruits kids who can mak eit at Duke. Kids he knows want to play high level Basketball , yet will likely stick around and get a degree.
