The Gretsch guitar era was his best, gentle melody, great talent, he was smooth, beautiful music.

This dude makes the guitar look easy , I understand why when youre play at 35miles per hour. Try doing it 5000miles per hour.

I just saw him play on YouTube and Wow, I just changed my mind on him, he is even worse then I originally thought.You have to be a total fool and idiot to believe that he should even sniff this list. His music brought me back to... to... an elevator!This was the most boring, uninspiring music that I have ever had the misfourtune to listen to. One big gtiant piece of crap!

Now here was a guitarist and a musical genius also. He is a giant figure among the so many head banging pygmies on this list.

Definitely needs to be higher. Not sure how every rock guitarist of the 60s is rated higher and talked about more. (Ok..I know why...60s rock is the music of the Baby Boomers...and thus is astoundingly overrated.) He would smoke each and every one of them.

The Night Atlanta Burned is one of my all time favorite accoustic albums.

Chet was one of the very best. I found out last week that he and Les Paul have made a recording as a duo(Ches and Les). I heard it on a local radio station and it is great. I also found that Les Paul,now in his 90's, is still playing in New York city on a weekly basis.
