Bonnie and Clyde were killed by a law enforcement ambush in Bienville Parish, Louisana, in 1934 near Gibsland, Louisiana.

Gibsland holds an annual Bonnie and Clyde Festival. Gibsland has the Bonnie and Clyde Museum, in the cafe where the outlaws last ate.
