If this comment was made 50 years ago, then he had a point, because America 50 years ago was severely segregated with blacks receiving a second-rate education and slim opportunities for advancement. Now if Pearl Junior made this comment yesterday or two years ago, then I'd like to ask what he's smoking.

 | souljunkie (20) 11/10/2005 | Hahahahahahahahahaha!!! Total bull---!! Here is more live proof that Black Americans will never stop this cycle of thinking. The people who are the "voice" of that community still think this way. What a Joke!!

 | SZinHonshu (44) 08/09/2005 | What a BS answer/remark! Take some godd--- responsibility. The main problems facing the African-American community (as a whole) are irresponsible breeding (70% of black children in America are born out of wedlock) and a lack of commitment to formal education (blacks, Latinos and American Indians have the lowest high school graduation rates).
The facts that someone has children they can't afford and are in no position to raise has no relationship to a practice that was eradicated in the States before anyone's great grandfather was born.
