Although I'm a registered independent, I certainly don't wonder why Democrats keep losing national elections. What if say the Republican Campaign Manager of G W Bush made some ignorent comment about "black boy attitude" by denigrating Afro-American "culture"? Even if elites are too full of white-guilt to admit it, clearly racism is a sword that cuts both ways.

I'm a Democrat, but even I can see that this attitude is absurd. Sure, there are plenty of racist "white boys", but to say that all white males are racist is just ridiculous.

As long as all racist, rude, demeaning, and overall completely inapropriate remarks are directed towards the white male, it's all okay. This comment is as blind and excluding as she sees white people to be. It exposes her true and very real ignorance. No wonder Gore lost with a campaing manager like this. But then one wonders, why did she work for Gore if she has such animoscity for white people. Ah, now her true motivations come out. I don't like white people, unless you have money. The little ironies of life, don't you love them.

Every time I become upset with my party (Meddling with T. Schiavo's medical tragedy ... trying to teach Creationism in public schools ... Patriot Act ... attempting to overturn Roe v. Wade, etc.) and I think about defecting, all I have to do is take a look at the other side and I remember why I became a Republican. What an utterly disgraceful remark! But, of course, it's OK to make racist statements as long as they're about white males! And she was RUNNING THE CAMPAIGN for a serious candidate for this nation's highest office. God help us all if the current incarnation of the Democratic Party ever again obtains hold of any serious political power on a national scale.
