 | Djahuti (54) 08/05/2005 | Very unhealthy foods (even their salads). If time is a factor,it's just as quick and inexpensive to get a REAL sandwich, half a sub or a slice of pizza from a family owned business that uses FRESH ingrediants and REAL meat.Better yet,Brown bag a lunch that you KNOW is healthy, and save even MORE money!

 | MissPackRat4Jesus (38) 08/03/2005 | Fast food visits should really be kept to a minimum; and even then, there's no need to supersize. For example, at McDonalds, I order a small burger, a small order of fries, and a small drink -- pretty much the size of a Happy Meal, only without the toy.
Occasionally, I do hit the fast food scene, but truly, I'm more busy trying to fix nutritious, balanced meals.
All in all, I say moderation (and smaller portion sizes) is the key in healthy eating habits.

 | Sundiszno (30) 08/03/2005 | Mass production and assembly lines may be OK for making cars, but not so for food. I try to stay away from fast food places as much as I can - I think the last time I went (to an Arbys) was in January of this year. By and large, none of the food you get in those places (except maybe for salads) is good for your body. It's another manifestation of the dumbing down of America.

 | Wavebacker (25) 08/02/2005 | Someone should do something about them becasue they serve garbage to a great many people. Sure the food taste good and is fast and quick, but it's not healthy. Check out the movie Supersize Me for a candid take on McDonald's. It will make you think twice about what you're eating. The good thing about Fast Food is the number of jobs these places provide. Many kids first job is at McDonald's. Keeping people employed is a good thing. It keeps them off the street and out of trouble and turns them into consumers.

 | irishgit (137) 08/02/2005 | Disgusting. I'm at about one visit a month now, and only when its a case of having to grab something quick on the run. Although given that I feel crappy after eating it, I think I'd be better off hungry.
