Buddy Bell (Kansas City Royals) 2

I enjoyed watching him play for Cleveland and then Texas and the Reds as a kid, he was a good third baseman and could hit,but Bell is one of those guys who winds up managing a few very bad franchises such as his current club, K.C.. He's probably good for young players to be around because of his experience and know how, but he's hard to rate as a strategist because the teams are so dreadful that they make his skill as a manager ultimately a moot point.

Until Buddy wins a Division, Pennant or World Series Title or is 6 or 7 games closer to White Soxs by Sept then he is just ok at 3.4 to me.

Buddy Bell may just be the best thing for the Royals since drafting Alex Gordon from Nebraska. Now all they need is a little help from the pitching staff and they'll be a contender for the AL Central come next year.
