i think the accused and the accuser should be kept private at least until the verdict. i feel the accused if found guilty should be publicized and if not incarcerated or when he is released i think it should be released to the public for their safety. i just found out last night that when i was staying at my grandmothers recently that in a 4-plex almost directly across from her house is living a convicted rapist and also a convicted child rapist. now we need to be responsible like make sure our doors are locked etc.... but thats not always sufficent but knowledge at least gives us at least a small advantage by just being aware.

I never understood why it was that someone can accuse anyone of a sex crime, and then the victim will be left private, while the accused's name is in the news for everyone to see and then even when the accused is acquited, they are still destroyed just by the accusation. I don't find it right.
