After dragging my straight skis to Colorado every Winter I started renting so I could get a feel for what I wanted to buy. After skiing on Salomon Verse 500's, I fell in love. They are awesome skis and after a year off for a knee replacement I can't wait to get back on them this winter!!

My first aggressive skates were Salomon STi Pros and I liked those skates good enough that I wanted to stay with Salomon so when I outgrew them I got some Salomon Vinny Minton's and I am in love with them. I have Ground Control frames on them and they are my favorite skates. I love the custom fit liners because they really do contour to my feet making them some of the most comfortable skates on the market out of the box. Bearings are fast out of the box and wheels are generally pretty good depending on the skate. Im not a huge fan of stock Salomon frames but before I got my Ground Control's the stock frames were actually holding up well to abuse. Overall the best skate in my book but its a shame they will no longer be distributing them in the United States. Get em while you can!
