Just off the record, Kerry has never been a millionaire. Yes, he has roots going way back in the Eastern establishment, but that wealth is gone, it's been diluted through the generations. His father was a career diplomat with Eastern European roots, his mother comes from the Forbes family, a (very) old money family from the Northeast, much more than even Bush. No inheritance money here, however some can say that he is however a male golddigger, being that he married into wealth twice.
