I'm not sure he's a conservative but he certainly left the liberal looney bin on gun ownership. I haven't heard much about any other "conservative" views, but that defiance of all things enlightened and liberal got him ostracized in Hollywood. And there sat Rosie, gun in her holster, hectoring him how nobody should have guns. Whew.

He's a good actor. Thing is, I heard he's moved to the left over the years, but I couldn't find any reference to the fact with a quick google.

I think the rating for this should be a 1 to show "no surprise" that Selleck is a conservative, but it looks like people are rating hihg (fives) based on how much they like the celebrity. I'll go with a 5 for Selleck - he is a much more versatile actor than he's usually given credit for (I like Quigley Down Under very much). Why is it that conservatives like Selleck can support their cause or causes without getting obnoxious and "in your face", whereas liberals seem to get all sanctimonious, strident, and just plain boorish? As an aside here, what is BTB's fixation with dorks? I didn't know you could use the word so many times in such a brief space.

Here is one of the great celebrity gentlemen of all times. When he did his "Magnum" series based in Hawaii, he would stop in many little stores and corner businesses during filming. He was very popular in Hawaii, and he always related to the little guy. That is typical of the non-lefto types in Hollywood. It is the elitist leftists who despise the blue-collar worker and common man as "unenlightened."

You dont hear much good press connected with George Clooney either with all of his hollywood bombs lately, but you sure hear his big mouth whenever he wants to spray his liberal wind all over the place. Again, I think this is a case of a classy guy who doesn't stoop to tooting his political horn to get attention.

He should have thrown a wicked beating on Rosie for the tasteless ambush.

He probably does Lifetime movies now. I wouldn't begin to know how to be aware of his politics. I'm certain that when he talks...........Nobody listens. Plus, he's got a cop moustache, and it doesn't seem to register with him that cop moustaches are dorky. Kinda like people with mullets. It's like, DEAR GOD, who doesn't know mullets and moustaches are for dorks!?! I wonder if he looks in the mirror and thinks, damn my moustache looks cool today! How many millions of people on this massive earth have to call people with moustaches dorks before they shave them!?! People like this boggle my mind. It's like, 'you look like a dork, you know you look like a dork, every comedian on earth is calling you a dork..................SO SHAVE IT!' God God, Tom, get a clue and maybe you can land a real role! UPDATE: I don't like conservatives being seen as cool. So listen to HEYKATE, keep the moustache, Dangle. She's exactly right, trust me, moustaches are in style. FYI - did it ever occur to anybody that he's not that outspoken BECAUSE HE HAS NO OUTLET? He's a dork. What show could he be on? The only time I've seen this guy in like the past 47 years, was on Conan. And if you want to talk about something serious there, you simply aren't getting booked.

An unabashed conservative, who has, at times served as a spokesman for the NRA. I've been a fan of Selleck since his Magnum days, and really enjoy him in westerns. He's been quiet lately, as far as politics are concerned, either that or I just haven't seen him.
