Stolen mail, particularly bank statements, credit card statements, or pension statements are worth a few hits to a meth junkie.

I have read of several horror stories where mail had been stolen out of someones own private mailbox, if possible get one that locks, if not make sure that the mail is not left in the box all day and especially if you are going away on vacation. Notify the post office that you will be away and to put a hold on your mail delivery.
