I found that if you use obscenities, your password is much easier to remember. I often try "Your monkey p*ssed in my drink" although that might be too long. "F*ck me, Molly McGee" is another good one.

I recommend something easy to remember, such as "password". That way, you'll save both you and any scammers out there a lot of time, as you'll never forget your password, and they won't have any trouble figuring it out. It's a win win situation.

I've got about six different passwords for different things. Oddly enough, I can remember which one goes to what account.

Online accounts should always be password protected especially if someone else has access to your computer. For offline accounts that you have with your bank, even if the thief does have your bank account number and Social Security number, the bank will not let anyone access your account without it.
