ghetto rock city! ohhhh shit! Younger crowd, mostly asians at times trying to be ghetto. Sound system is ok. Bartenders are always friendly even when its packed. Overall, not too bad. Not great either.

The cover was $5 before 11pm and $10 after. I got there right at 11pm and the girl told me $5. I was like sweet, I made the cut! I handed her a $20 and this little chick hands me back $10. I said: "Hey, You said $5," and she goes: "Yeah, well I lied, As for the drink selection, pretty standard. However, because I drink mostly fruity drinks at clubs, and because this crowd prefers Hennesy, the bar tenders are clueless. This almost always works out in your favor because they will pour you a splash extra for having to show them on the wall which bottle contains your desired beverage. Once in Rum and coke in hand, I entertained myself by playing a game I call "spot the white guy" It turned out not too many, so the game was over pretty quick. After that I moved on to "spot the guy with huge gold chains or sunglasses inside at night" That turned out to be  as well. Getting bored with my games I turned to heavy drinking and after my 5th drink I discovered that Biggie Smalls is not all that bad,actually the music here is awesome and the crowd is pretty fun.  but the highlight of the night was a guy using his cell phone as a flashlight searching the ground. Turns out he had lost his "grill". Priceless.

The night my crew enjoyed this club was when Hellatight had their setup. For a night on the Haight, this is a great place to end up. Friendly peeps all over.

I really like this club. Great hip hop DJ's, cool and diverse crowd, and totally unpretentious feel. Plus $3 Budweisers, which from my experience, is unheard of for a club. Located toward the end of Haight Street across from Amoeba Records.
