I love the beach in Barcelona! The water is great and I love being able to get a full day of activities in before and/or after some time at the beach. Also, it's the kind of beach where there's a little of everything--activity (volleyball, etc) and relaxation.

The beaches are just so so in Barcelona. And if you're in such an incredible, picturesque place like Barcelona for a limited time, it's hard to carve out the time to go sit an urban, dirt beach.
