More required viewing for Jarheads, The legendary ace Pappy Boyington and his Black Sheep are good enough story for me.

Although at times the plots in this series were a bit far-fetched, overall I enjoyed it tremendously. I never could get enough of the Corsair footage (although if I remember correctly, every once in a while an early version of the bird with a 3-bladed prop would take off, but somehow miraculously managed to grow a fourth blade when it returned to base!!). Nonetheless, I think that it had some of the best airplane scenes of any TV series.
