11/15/2006 | I have to agree HistoryFan, they are loaded with flavor and even the mustard they use is the best you will find. I arrived in Germany at the climax of Fasching, which is called Fastnacht in English. It is a three month long carnival and one of the largest selling items on any menu there at this time is Bratwurst on Brochen, ( their type of roll) in place of our traditional hot dog rolls which also leave a bit to be desired compared to Brochen. I no longer eat pork. I do miss the taste of this in particular.

08/04/2005 | While not a tradional hot dog, it is in the family. I like mine grilled on the BBQ and almost burnt. It doesn't really need anything but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it was topped with grilled onions.

08/04/2005 | I love Brat! Yeah!...but I dont think of them when its hot dog time. Hot dogs are a simple food that you can cook quick and easy, while bbq'ing something else usually at my house. They are made as a first snack or food for kids on the run. Keep it simple, oscar meyer, a bun and your fixins. Brat is for a differnt occasion usually in the winter.
