Man, some people need to lay off the drugs. UPDATE: More sacks than completions may be overstating things a bit, but it does make the point as to the hopelessness of this team.

3-13...maybe. David Carr will have more sacks than pass completions. Is it my imagination, but does it seem the only team the Texans ever beat is the Jaguars.

Maybe in another year or two they will be a solid playoff team and can seriously be considered for a Super Bowl. David Carr is one of the best QBs in the league, they just need to keep surrounding him with the right talent. They are on a good course, but they are not quite ready yet.

The Texans have improved greatly in the last few years, but have yet to win any big games in their franchise's short history. I think that while the Super Bowl is a realistic goal set my some teams, the Texans first need to work on getting to the playoffs before they are ready to think of themselves as Super Bowl contenders.

Hailing from Houston, I am a die hard Texan fan. They have improved every year in very small steps. Honestly I was hoping to win more than 7 games last season and with the talent we had, Im surprised we still haven't. I cannot say I am a big fan of Dom Capers because of it. While I feel he is a smart football mind, he is lacking in the area of people skills and is not a great motivator. Most anal and detail oriented people like him are not. With his head in his notebook he pays too much attention to stats and no attention to his players minds. In my book, He has this year to win 9-10 games. That may or may not get us into the playoffs but in the AFC south division, the only real competition this year will be Indianapolis. Tennesse will be re-building and is an old team now. I could be wrong but after last years 9-7 season, Jacksonville who was so strong two years ago is looking for its identity again. I dont believe we will win a super bowl this year and I am a wild optimist about my team. If we do not win these 9-10 games, I would be looking for a new coach immediately. And this time I hope we decide to pay for a coach with a winning track record. Not an 'incumbant' who was lucky with his first expansion team. (Carolina). We recruited a great quarterback in David Carr and have had a strong running back and world class recievers two years running, rookies or not. Its time to put some hustle to this muscle!
