This is the 3rd year in a row I picked not only the Super Bowl winner, but also the score. The last two were easy because the Patriots are my team. This time was tricky but I still got it. During the pregame show I told everyone - Pittsburg's going to win this one, 21-10. You can all call Vegas - you don't even need to watch the game, you've got the score right now. OC 9/20/05, 12:49 am: The Steel Curtain looks tough once again, and with their quarterback coming off a stellar rookie season and all the rest of their ducks in a row, my money's on Pittsburg.

Steelers all the way this year..last year they were one away from the big one and that was with a hurting Big Ben. Their defense is amazing and will stay that way if all remain healthy. I just went to the Pats/Steelers game in Pitt and the Pats are not the same team as in the past. Steelers could have easily won that for many reasons: laterol mistake, Reeds missing the second attempt field goal after the penalty, and most of all the stupid clock error which would have made it too late for Brady to get it down the field. Although the Patsies pulled it off, it still proves that Pitt can easily compete with them to go to the Superbowl! And the Steelers will just continue to get better as the season goes on...The only team that worries me is the Colts(if they gain home field in the playoffs), NOT the Pats!!!

A contender, but I'm not putting money down just yet.

Doubtable. I'm predicting an underdog winning this year. Either that or the Pats or Colts.

If Big Ben has the year like last, and Duce Staley scores more touchdowns and Hines Ward has another 1000+ yard season AND their ageing defense holds up...........they are destined to win the Superbowl. Also I don't know why Jerome Bettis is still in team. Pittsburgh just don't need him anymore.

The Steelers are pretty tough to rate. They still have a great defense, but not particularly better than a handful of other teams in the AFC. Ben Roethlisberger has to show if he's going to be a long time winner, or if he'll be a flash in the pan. They might be a wildcard team, but I see them taking a quick exit from the playoffs.

The Steelers will probably be a playoff team, but I do not think they will be as strong as last year. Even if Ben Roethlisberger plays great this year, it will be almost impossible for him to match last year's success. It will make it even more difficult considering Plaxico Burress has gone on to the Giants, and Jerome Bettis has one foot in the grave. The Ravens look as if they have improved offensively, and if that is the case, the Steelers might be looking for a Wild Card slot, instead of the AFC North title.

even without buress they make it to the superbowl and may even win it because there defenes is awsome and the offense can make plays, plus the special teams are good.
