The Chargers were eliminated from contention for the 2006 NFL playoffs with a loss at Kansas City combined with a Pittsburgh win at Cleveland on December 24.

Their big strength is the passing game, which is lead by Drew Brees, who's having a very good season. Some aspects of their defense is suspect, but they can score, and that's what counts.

Not with an 0-2 start!

Tomlinson will go the the pro bowl and that's the only positive for the chargers. They will have an 6-11 year.

God help this team and maybe you can have the honor off facing the Ravens in a big play off game

I don't think the 2004 season was a fluke. LT is set to have a monster year, and I think the Chargers will push the Colts hard to see who loses to the Patriots in the AFC Championship.

The Chargers are a repeat playoff team, but will they be able to prove that the 2004 season was not a fluke. Last year was Brees' first great year, and Gates' break out season. With Gates holding out for most of camp, will he be able to hook up with Brees the way they did last year. The Chargers look to be a good team, but the Raiders are improved this year, the Chiefs have a great offense, and Denver is always strong, so it will be hard for them to make the playoffs, although they do seem capable.

not just because its my team but because the offense kill with the run LT, and the pass with maCcardell and gates mainly. on Run D awsome we have to have the best linebackers and D-line, but the pass not so good, if we could get the pass D we will earn a trip a win in superbowl XL

As much as I would like to see the Texans win it all, I know that's a long way off. I gave the chargers a 5 star but only on one condition: that they would only build on what they had last season. If they can work some kinks out on offense and put that with that dominating defense from last year, they can make a serious Super Bowl run. I just hope the Patriots don't win it again. On another note. Please San Diego. Go back to white helmets and powderblue jerseys.
