Boring design. Nothing special, but not ugly.

Good stadium. Not bad seat in the house, plus the fans were pretty nice. They didn't tease us at all. I'm not sure why only 4 stars, but it's not the best.

Great Stadium. Classic college football feel. Tailgaiting all around and even on the nearby golf course!!

Great college football atmosphere. Every defensive third down every one in the stadium pumps their hannds up and down... every first down the crowd chants 1...2...3...4 FIRST DOWN. After every score the Boilermaker train horn blows. Not a bad seat in the stadium

Surrounding what once used to look like a high school stadium on steroids with brick did a lot for the place, along with the impressive new pressbox...

After the renovation it is one of the most visually impressive stadiums in the nation. The new 18 ft. tall Boilermaker statue adds an imposing presense as the crowd walks to their seats. Lots of tradition, pride, etc. in that place. And how is it being close to Mackey Arena a negative? It adds to the traditional college scenery, much like seeing the classic Cary Quad in the background.

As a Purdue student, I was a season ticket holder for all four of my years there. Sure, Ross-Ade is small, cramped, and right next to Mackey Arena, but it's a great setting for college football. Show up for a great Big Ten game against the likes of Michigan, Ohio State, or Iowa and then tell me that place isn't loud! In big time games like that, you can just feel the emotion of the fans (of both teams) in the air. Purdue fans doing the Boiler Up pump on defensive third downs, and the ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR FIRST DOWN chants on offense serve to further fill the stadium with noise when the Boilermakers are on either side of the ball.

the majestic home of the... boilermakers. seriously? the boilermakers. big 10 football, the most boring slop on the planet. purdue, get ready for another 7-5 season and a .com bowl.

Better than WVU.

OK THIS IS VERY SURPRISING. This stadium should be around the 50th in the nation in stadiums not 12th. I'VE PERSONALLY BEEN TO RA and it was pitiful very cramped setting with basketball arena less than 25 yards away. I know this stadium can't be loud and I', right because I have seen a game from RA. Very overrated on this site.

Cold weather and football go hand in hand. Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium can't get any better for a traditional football game! Tailgating is great, too!

Cold up there in Indiana after September!
