To all rateitall reviewers. I started this list so I could write about this horrible company. If any of you would like to add to this list about other companies who are scams, let me know. BEST MAGAZINE DIRECT is a scam company. I found them on the internet. I was thinking about subscribing to USA Today and they offered it. I had never heard of this company so I called them and they seemed legitimate. I foolishly ordered the paper through them. About nine weeks of waiting i finally started getting my paper. It was supposed to be for six months. Yesterday after four months it stopped coming. I called USA today. The lady i got asked me how I ordered the paper I told them BEST MAGAZINE DIRECT. This is where she dropped the bomb, she informed me that this company took the money I sent and kept the money and never sent it to USA today. Great. She told me to call them and gave me the number to BEST MAGAZINE DIRECT. Now when I call this magazine i get a recording to leave a message. I know I will never hear back from them. I already emailed the Federal Trade commision. I already feel like a fool for ordering from a company online I never heard from .The least i can do is warn others. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM BEST MAGAZNE DIRECT they are scams. Oh yeah they used to be on the internet cannot find them now.   Has anyone else been shafted by these crooks?

I ordered a Quilters 3 pack subscription on April 29th. I was instructed not to make any inquiries until the subscriptions were at least 12 weeks late. It still hasn't come and I get no response from this company. Their 800 # has been disconnected and they have a PO box instead of a street address. I think I have been scammed.

I ordered a bundle of six magazine subscriptions using a mbna credit card in august of 2004. The card expired in December of 04 and I hadn't received any magazines but also had not been charged. Then in March of 05 I started receiving all the subscriptions. 4 of the subscriptions have run out, but I still get two, with out ever being charged. so it worked for me.

This company doesn't deserve a rating at all!! I ordered USA Today and after never receiving it, called them and was informed that they had been having a problem with USA Today and would refund my money. Believe it or not I received a check for the full amount - UNSIGNED!! When I tried to contact them, the phone number had been disconnected

I ordered the Wall Street Journal through this company in 2005 and needless to say I never received a single copy of the newspaper. I am of course proceeding to dispute the charges. Beware of working through this website!

I had same experience with this company too. They charged my credit card for Wall street journal and asked me to wait upto 8 weeks for the delivery to start. Needless to say the paper was never delivered because wall street journal did not get the subscription. I will lodge complaint against this company.

I am in the camp of being defrauded by this disreputable company. I have filed several complaints with various agencies, and discovered some useful information I would like to share. The co-founder of the company is Greg Van Horn. He keeps a blog and it speaks volumes to his character and business practices. The web address is blogmaster@blogster.com. I particularly enjoyed the photos of his cars and trips and partying. If your money has been taken, please take the time to fill out a complaint with the IFCC. This agency partners with the FBI against internet fraud. The form can be found at IFCC.gov.

I had a similar (embarrassing) moment. I never received my order, yet (surprise, surprise) my AMEX was billed.
