Pro choice was the excuse Hitler used in order to exterminate the Jews and other "sub species". Are we following the example?

Dangerous to human life = Dangerous to America

Any movement that justifies its existence through death is a dangerous movement. It starts with the dehumanizing of who or what we want to kill. In this case we call the baby a fetus and since it is a fetus then it is not completely human and so it is okay to dispose (we would not use kill would we) of the inconvenience of an unwanted pregnancy, because after all we have our rights. God has built into abortion its own judgment and consequences. When we dehumanize others, even freshly conceived babies, we dehumanize ourselves. And since the beginning (according to Genesis) God has meant children to be a blessing that helps to complete us and fill up our lives with blessings and joy, when we abort, we are aborting our blessing and instead choose the curse of an empty life.

I've said it before....keep your legs together if you don't want to get pregnant. And should you slip up and get pregnant, at least give it up for adoption. There are lots of couples who can't have children of their own and would love to adopt.

I support abortion. There's to many people in the world and we need to stop this growth.

Dangerous to America? Sure... I could make a list a few miles long of things more dangerous to America(and the world)but I guess it all depends on what you consider important. Some hate me for it but I must admit, what with all the issues going on right now, the rights of an undeveloped, unfeeling crotch-dropping don't cross my mind too often.

43 million unborn children dead since 1973...and counting. Pretty dangerous to America if you ask me. Unless, of course, you consider Mother Angelica (83 year old nun who launched EWTN) a dangerous zealot who should be shot on site. Don't you just love the tolerant left? And what about those stupid Americans who actually support a childs right to live! Better stay away from those self-righteous retards...UPDATE: It seems the only choices the left supports are their own, otherwise your stupid and portraying you as a clinic bomber to discredit your argument is justified. Chairman Mao would approve.

I generally don't like to argue, but I really must take exception to CanadaSuck's comment; EVERY argument in his post is fallacious. 1. Just because there are some crazies out there that firebomb abortion clinics, doesn't mean that this applies to all those pro-life. (Fallacy of Composition) 2. Got through one day without harassment of people making serious choices you want to make for them? - The government frequently makes choices for us when it deems them necessary. i.e. laws (fallacy of accident) 3. ...Anti-choice people are zealots (Straw man fallacy) who cannot accept a larger view of an America (argument ad populum) that frightens their little minds... (Argument ad hominem) 4. He also argues that because the pro-life side is the only one that has resorted to violence (which I'm not sure is true, I'll look that one up) that we must be wrong. (again, Argument ad hominem) 5. You're for freedom or against it (this is a fallacy of presumption (proper) based on false alternatives - You are either for the freedom he's referring to, or against it. Therefore one cannot be (as I am) for the freedom of the living fetus. I consider the right to life of the fetus to trump the mother's right to privacy.) 6. Calling the Taliban Pro-life is something the likes of which I haven't seen much on RIA. I know he's being sarcastic referring to the fact that (in Afghanistan) abortions are illegal and the Taliban is generally considered to be evil and backward, therefore the illegality of abortion must be backward and evil (once again, fallacy of composition), but personally I think it's disrespectful to the memories of those (American or otherwise) who died at the hands of the Taliban to call them pro-life (even jokingly). And to take folks (like me), who simply want to see EVERYONE have the right to life, and compare us to the Taliban is, in my opinion, despicable. OC: No, I would have to say that it isn't very dangerous any more, since it is legal to have an abortion in all fifty states. I really don't know how much more they could devalue human life at this point. I don't have a problem with the implied right to privacy, I simply believe that the right to life should supersede it.

Fire-bomb a clinic lately? Got through one day without harassment of people making serious choices you want to make for them? Quietly look the other way while people under your banner break the law? Anti-choice people are zealots who cannot accept a larger view of an America that frightens their little minds. Remember kids, only one side of this argument has resorted to violence and harrassment- sure signs of being on the wrong side of this issue. You're for freedom or against it- feel free to move to a nation that supports a lack of personal freedom. . .how about Afghanistan? The Taliban was pro-life, now that I think of it. . .

There is nothing dangerous about advocating the murder of unborn children. Remember that.

Not a threat when you are trying to prevent overpopulation and more povery...the reason that the Jesus Freaks are against abortion has nothing to do with the right of life, they would support destructive wars if it serves there purpose...it has something to do with human sexuality, something they are trying to eradicate.

Situational autonomy has always been a facet of existence, and is being implemented with greater skill as a wider plateau of options opens up the further we progress. Pro-choice advocacy addresses the all-inclusive scenarios that reflect real-world sensibilities, providing levels of freedom heretofore unenjoyed during oppressive and tyrannical times. Dangerous to America? To the pointed contrary; VITAL to America and beyond.

As a supporter of pro-choice (and I'm a republican *GASP!*), I don't find it to be dangerous at all. The same is true for pro-life, because I respect the viewpoints and opinions of others. I simply believe that women should have the right to choose what they can and can't do with their own bodies.
