One of the great comedic sources from Britain. They're shows and movies are classic.

Inspired SNL which in the long run may or may not have been a good thing. This is British comedy at its best with no holds barred. The Pythons were given a lot of leighway by the BBC and were often attacked by critics such as Mary Whitehouse. The parrot and silly walks sketches are just two of the classic sketches from the series. Way ahead of its time and always very funny. With love to all at St. Loonys Up The Creek Bun & Jam.

Arguably the best British comedy ever made. The sketch in which a group of angry northerners reflect how things were back in my day and come up with ridiculously sordid stories is the only time in my life where I've nearly cried with laughter. Very bleak, very dark, very British.

It was off-key,funny, sometimes missed the mark but more often brilliant.

My mom introduced me to this show. It is the funniest show I have seen. My favorite sketch is The Dead Parrot Sketch.

This was the show that as teenagers you were expected to like because parents hated it...even if it wasn't all that funny really. It did spawn lots of stereotypes and punchlines though.

Absolute, undisputed brilliance. A strong case can be made that this is the best thing that ever happened on television.

Can't beat Monty Python. Especially with their songs: Sit on my face and The Lumberjack song are personal favorites.
