The Good life was about a couple who decideD to become independent of modern life while living in greater London. The Goods who are the couple live next door to a rather snobby neighbour and her husband. Very funny show and you never really knew what they were going to try next.

Tom and Barbara were fairly smug. Margot was the star. Poor Jerry. Wasn't that good.

Harmless comedy. It had it's moments of being amusing. I agree with irishgit each episode were all a bit samey.

Not bad. After you saw three episodes you'd pretty much seen them all, however.

Another feelgood programme from childhood with gentle laughs and a warm message. Excellent quartet of actors made for a highly memorable programme.

This is one of the top 5 Brit sitcoms of all time! (as voted by the British public recently). Comic Genius. Sums up the British middle class lifestyle perfectly even though it's 30 years old!
