On The Buses 1

British comedy, at its worst, is probably the least funny art form in the world.

If this horrid thing isn't the worst of British comedy, it will certainly do until the worst gets here.

I'm expecting that someone will issue a boxed DVD compilation of stuff like this, Are You Being Served, My Hero, Keeping up Appearances and the worst of Benny Hill.  It could be introduced by John Houseman, sitting in a smoking jacket in front of a fire, pontificating about the high water marks in English theatre..

On The Buses 4

First aired in the UK in the late sixtys early seventys. Reg the bus driver live with his sister and brother in law. His conductor is his best friend and his arch nemisis is the buse inspector. Very funny show for its time.

On The Buses 3

A funny comedy in the 70's, not so now. Absolute trash, should be kept in the vault gathering dust for eternity.

On The Buses 5

Ah, another dear old favourite. The 70s really was the golden era of TV comedy, even if today it looks dated.
