08/15/2005 | France does have a xenophobic reputation, but reducing the relationship to two schoolyard children pointing fingers at each other is childish. Do I think France is a little off-center? Sure. But oh how Americans forget- without the help of France, the American revolution probably doesn't succeed thus we don't have the luxury of bashing France in the first place.
