08/08/2005 | Islam has a difficult time with anything being anyone else's property-Jerusalem,for example isn't mentioned in the Koran-even once...see for example 'From Time Immemorial' by Joan Peters-who started her book on the same side as the previous opinion writer on this issue.

08/08/2005 | Er, it actually wasn't Jewish land till the west made it so by sectioning off a part of Palestine after the war! Hence the conflict. The solution will never be found till both sides (Muslims/Jews) and their supporters, accept each other as equals in the relationship.
