A good song but not great. I agree the Stones have done better.

I don't know if it's one of the best songs ever. Probably not. But it certainly is a great song. Made even better by the high pitched backing vocals of Mary Clayton.

Very good-but a far cry from being the Greatest-even in the Stones repitoire.

Nothing on this earth kicks more ass than when she hits that high note toward the end of the song. Wooohhh, bAAAAAbeh, it's just a shot away...............and in the background, you hear, WOOO!. You can just imagine them in the studio when she hits that note, all jubilant like YEEEEESSSSSSSSS!. I love it! UPDATE: Yeah, that's what it's about. Repeating lyrics over and over. What is people's obsession with lyrics? I think it's about ROCK! Just for arguments sake though, it's not simply about running for shelter. If you dobn't know that, you don't deserve to know. Yeah, it's just a kiss away, baby. That's all. I don't give a damn what they titled it. They can call it that one song for all I care. Sheeeeit, call it no title. Who cares?

The song is about running for shelter and repeating lyrics over and over again because they couldnt come up with anything more. The Stones rock but dont have much to say. The name of the song should have been just a shot away.
