My number one band. This is a rock anthem only outdone by one or two like it. Stairway to Heaven, Kasmere and Freebird none of which i like more than this great song. ps, Aerosmith is still cool to the bone and always will be. If you like Aerosmith you'll be ok.

Dream On is definitely one of the best rock songs ever. How can anybody not love Steven Tyler's vocals reaching to the highest level at the end of this song. Definitely one of Aerosmith's great songs.

I agree with EDT4 to an extent. It IS a bit over played to still be exciting to hear everytime it comes on. But, it's still a great song. And always will be. I do have to say though, I HATED the thing with Eminem. Not because I don't think they should let themselves be featured on other songs, but because IT SUCKED.

Maybe not quite the greatest song ever,but definately a contender. I'd say it's easily the Greatest Rock Ballad,though... Just as bone chilling and valid as it was the day it came out.This classic aged like fine wine,a true rarity!

I liked it moderately when it first came out, but now, nearly 30 years later and approx. 950,000,000 listens later, it's as boring as death. They're using it to sell product on TV now, and as soon as I hear the first strains, I immediately turn the channel, no matter what show I'm watching.
