My wife and I have used SA8 laundry detergent for almost 40 years and won't buy anything else. Currently, we use the liquid with Bioquest and it's fantastic! Recently, I injured myself and bled on one of my white dress shirts. I didn't notice the blood on the underside of one of the sleeves until the next day. After presoaking the bloody area on the sleeve with SA8 detergent and SA8 powdered bleach for a couple of hours, I put this shirt in the laundry with the other whites. It came out spotless.

Also, while I haven't done a price per load analysis lately, 1 gallon of this detergent lasts us most of the year and we do 3 full loads of laundry each week. Additionally, this detergent prevents soap scum buildup in the washing maching.

To those who says SA8-crap: how can you say that???? You definitely didn't use it properly. READ instructions first!!! When I first heard about this product, I was kind of skeptic; my wife was totally, completely against since she heard some bad stuff about Amway.

I used SA8 Plus for years and loved it. I'm disappointed with the SA8 Premium with BIOQUEST because it ruins the colors of my darker shirts. I've tried mixing it with water to make a liquid detergent but it doesn't help. All my black, navy and darker shirts look tye-died.

I have used a wide variety of detergents, but this one is the best of all. Biodegradable (perfect for septic systems), no fillers (good test of your own is put a teaspoon in a jar of water and stir...is it cloudy?), ie no irratants. Gets everything white - white. And it is laundry system, so you know that using SA8 with their Tryzine (booster) or their All Fabric Bleach (10x the cleaning power of Oxi-Clean), that the chemistry mixes perfectly! SA8 laundry detergent is the best I have ever found. I am a huge fan of the detergent tablets, but they are being discontinued. SA8 Premium with BIOQUEST Concentrated Detergent is very concentrated so you only have to use a little detergent per load. The scoop probably equals 1/8 of a cup and it comes in a big box so it will last a VERY long time. I have used Tide for most of my life. I liked the fresh smell, but I noticed that my clothes still had detergent residue and you could see a spot that looked like a stain. I bought the SA8 Premium with Bioquest concentrated detergent and I am much happier. Not only do my clothes come out residue free, but they smell great too. It is also cheaper because you would need 2 1/2 4.37-lb. boxes of Tide to compare to one box of SA8. I love this laundry detergent and I am sure I will not switch to anything else. The world's best laundry detergent! Corrosion inhibitors in SA8 helps protect your investment! Even Consumer Reports (Jan. 2007) ranks SA8 at the top of their list. CR is wrong about the price, though. A box of SA8 at retail is $23.00 for 100 laundry loads. If I'm not mistaken that equals 23 cents per load not the 61 cents Consumer Reports claims to be. Someone at CR made a serious calculation error.

SA8 is the best detergent on the market. We have to kids that have very sensitive skin. We were hesitant to switch to SA8 but had heard so much about the product that we introduced it to our household.
