Which is why all patriotic Americans use the terms "Freedom Fries" and "Liberty Cabbage" in place of french fries and sauerkraut. For those of you who have no idea what I'm prattling about regarding that second one, ask someone who grew up during WWII. Sorry, it was the stupidest thing to say that I could think of on short notice.

English muffins were invented in England, but you are right about the French fries not being French.
