Yes, it only ran one year.  26 episodes and it still beats the socks off the stuff we're stuck with now.  The show was listed as a drama but had an undercurrent of humor that made it very appealing.  When will the company that holds the rights to it get wise and turn it loose on DVD?  We're waiting.....

This series only ran for one year. It was a Dirty Dozen type deal. A group of convicts was recruited as commandos and if they worked out, at the end of the war they would get a pardon. If it didn't work out, blammo from a firing squad. The group operated out of England and ranged all over Europe.
