This San Francisco district gave John Kerry 85% of its vote in 2004. This is Nancy Pelosi's district, and she has represented it since she was elected in 1987 to succeed Sala Burton who died in office.

Pelosi was born in 1940 and is Catholic.

I'm not a 'donkey-basher,' but Nancy Pelosi is a horrible Representative. Her answer to everything is to increase taxes and regulations. You'd think that being from San Francisco she'd be more liberal when it came to privacy rights and freedom from federal control, but that is sadly not the case. Even Democrats should be against her.
