This is a GOP leaning district in which Bush polled 53% of the vote.

Stupak won his first term in 1992 with 54% of the vote. He has been held below 60% several times but latley has won by wider margins.

He was born in 1952 and is Catholic.

The GOP is waiting for Stupak to retire in order to pick up this seat!
