Like a noxious weed, it just doesnt go away. Unlike a noxious weed, there coffee is often good. Stick with the Mom and Pop chains that eventualy get agressively pushed out. Imagine SF filled with corporate Cafes...that would be so middle america. Barf. DIE! old school yuppie. Heeello progressive, recycling yuppie!

Typical starbucks, but I did notice that my drink was watered down quite a bit. Went for the ice blended chai, had to throw it out 2 minutes later because it was like drinking a spiced water flavored icee. Service was not particularly friendly.

So I noticed that there are two very cute girls who work the day shift here. One in particular really got me - she's about 5'7, light brown hair, and she has that very cute but with a naughty side type look. And she's spunky, she's always singing along with the radio. Anyway I've been looking for an excuse to talk to her without appearing to be another obnoxious customer but I came up empty. Today when I order my typical Venti Decaf Tea (I've been sick with mono - can't have caffeine) she pours the hot water and turns to bring the cup over the counter when it abruptly hits the counter, and the boiling water comes flying at me. I try and do a split sort of but can't avoid everything and I wind up basically scampering around like a girl. Luckily for me the Starbucks chick jumps over the counter and proceeds to wipe my legs down with her towel. At this point I start to forget about the burning and take her by the hands and thank her before she embarrasses herself any further. At least I have an excuse to talk to her next time.
