An absolute must for me. I feel crappy, and get an attitude, if I go a while without doing something active. Staying active, as another reviewer said, is proven to reduce stress. That being said, it's also important to maintain a happy medium. I think it's good to hit happy hour, instead of the gym, every once in a while.

Not easy, but certainly worth the effort. It's not hard to get some daily exercise:even if it's just a 20 or 30 minute walk or bike ride, and exercise has proven to reduce stress and depression.Healthy eating is a bit trickier, what with so many noxious additives in the most readily available foods.Did you know that High Fructose Corn Syrup is well nigh impossible for you body to process? And they put it in almost EVERYTHING from soda & juice to bread and katsup.Just try reading labels and see how much of it the average Joe or Jane eats daily! Then there's the hormones and antibiotics in meat, and genetically processed garbage, and Irradiation, which they do NOT have to put on the label.Organic food has been PROVEN healthier,so what does our FDA do? Why,they try to LOWER the standards so that you can continue to pay EXTRA money while you get an INFERIOR product! Gee,thanks-guys!Glad you're protecting the CEOs... uh,"people"!

Living healthy can mean so many things (at least to me.) I live to the best of my abilities. I prefer to say that I live within my comfort levels. I strive to maintain the contentment I feel in this life. I can't say that I am a health nut. I am not at the gym at 5 in the morning everyday. And I don't drag myself to the doctor whenever I am sick. I keep my priorities in line, and make the most of things when possible. Not every day can be a healthy, perfect day.
